Wednesday's Dutch Oven Recipe
Apple Spice Cobbler
1 Apple spice cake mix
1 Can of soda (Coke or sprite, or anything)
1 Can Apple pie filling
Cinnamon/Nutmeg
Butter
Put a 1/2 cube of melted butter in the bottom of your Dutch oven. Then pour in the apple pie filling and spread around. And some of the pop (maybe ½ to ¾ of the can) Then pour the cake mix over the filling. Don’t stir, then cut butter chunks on the top and sprinkle with some cinnamon and the nutmeg. 12” Dutch Oven cook for 40-45 minutes with 9 pieces of charcoal on the bottom and 15 on top. Serve with Ice cream while it is still a little warm!
